The Texas Tenors was a Vocal Trio act from FantasyAGT: Battle of the Champions. They were eliminated in the Preliminaries, but were saved by Pennies. They were eliminated again in the Judge Cuts but were brought back as a wildcard in the Quarterfinals, where they were eliminated for a third and final time.
Background[]
The Texas Tenors are based in Houston, Texas. At the time of their audition, the three vocalists were "three southern-midwestern boys pinching every penny." One ran a small business for a living, another was a starving artist, and the third was unemployed. The group was put together three months before their audition.
From Alabama to Puccini, John Hagen, Marcus Collins and JC Fisher bring their unique blend of country, gospel, classical and broadway to the stage. [1]
Preliminary[]
The Texas Tenors' preliminary performance in Episode BC05 consisted of singing “Unchained Melody” by The Righteous Brothers. Mike, Saf, Pennies and Fresh all gave the trio standing ovations. Although their performance was not strong enough to advance instead of Craig Lewis Band, Pennies chose to use his save on them, sending them to the Judge Cuts.

Judge Cuts[]
The Texas Tenors' Judge Cuts performance in Episode BC08 consisted of singing The Rolling Stones' "Wild Horses." Mike, Saf, guest judge Luke, Pennies and Fresh all gave the trio standing ovations. Although their performance was not strong enough for the judges to send them to Quarterfinals, they were later reinstated as a wildcard.

Quarterfinals[]
The Texas Tenors' Quarterfinals performance in Episode BC013 consisted of singing Lee Greenwood's "God Bless the USA." Mike, Saf, Pennies and Fresh all gave them standing ovations. The trio did not receive enough votes to advance to the Semifinals, eliminating them from the competition instead of Shin Lim.
