Background[]
This Chicago based creator is a self-described "hip-hop illusionist," who posts alluring and shareable content to his Facebook and YouTube page. Jibrizy has been featured on Fox News 32 in Chicago, Masters of Illusion and Penn & Teller Fool Us on the CW, as well as with Kevin Hart on PRANK'D on the LOL Network. Jibrizy has had his fair share of struggles in order to reach the amount of success he has today. Growing up in the south side of Chicago, he developed Crohn's disease at age 12 and was forced to stay inside for two years. While this was extremely difficult, it allowed him to develop his magic skills to a very impressive level. [1]
Preliminary[]
Jibrizy's preliminary performance in Episode BC04 consisted of creating a series of illusions including turning a deck of cards into money, making a pencil appear inside a pen and the pen and pencil appear to switch places, and finally revealing a coin signed with an X by Saf to be inside a sugar packet. Saf, Pennies and Fresh all gave him standing ovations. His performance was not strong enough for the judges to send him to Judge Cuts, eliminating him from the competition along with Eric Chien and instead of Jon Dorenbos.
