Dinmukhammed Kanatuly Kudaibergen (Kazakh: Дінмұхаммед Қанатұлы Құдайберген, Dinmuhammed Qanatuly Qudaıbergen; born 24 May 1994) is a Kazakh singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. He is university trained in classical as well as in contemporary music and is known for his wide vocal range of six octaves. He has performed songs in twelve different languages.
Although offered a position at Astana Opera, he decided to carve out his career in contemporary music, incorporating classical elements and traditional Kazakh music with pop music.
He gained significant popularity in Kazakhstan and other post-Soviet countries in 2015 upon becoming the Grand Prix winner of Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk, Belarus. He rose to fame in China with his participation as a "wildcard competitor" in Hunan TV's Singer 2017 (Chinese: 歌手2017).
Kudaibergen is noted for having a vocal range of 6 octaves and 5 semitones, from A1 to D8 (and 6 octaves and 8 semitones, from F♯1 to D8, including growling) showcased in live performances. This spans from below the lowest notes of the bass range to far beyond the highest notes of the soprano range.
His highest performed note in "mix voice" is C6, and his highest in head voice is F♯6.
In March 2019, he was presented by the US TV channel CBS on The World's Best as “the man with the world’s widest vocal range”.
Kudaibergen sings in multiple musical genres. His main genre is classical crossover, but he also sings classical music (bel canto), pop, folk and world music. He uses musical elements, and vocal styles and techniques of many other genres, including jazz, rock (e.g. distorted screams), metal (e.g. growling), RnB, musical theater, and rap.
He is also known for his use of the whistle register, and for singing in full head voice. [1]

Dimash's preliminary performance in Episode BC05 consisted of singing "SOS d'un terrien en détresse". Mike, Saf, Pennies and Fresh all gave him standing ovations, praising his vocal aibility. His performance was strong for the judges to send him to Judge Cuts instead of Marc Martel and Anthony Vincent.

Dimash's Judge Cuts performance in Episode BC07 consisted of singing Eric Carmen's "All By Myself". Mike, Saf, guest judge Smack, Pennies and Fresh all gave him standing ovations, adoring his crazy vocal range and high notes. His performance was strong enough for the judges to send him to the Quarterfinals.

Dimash's Semifinal performance in Episode BC015 consisted of singing "Your Love". Mike, Saf, Pennies and Fresh all gave him standing ovations again, noting him for how beautiful his voice sounded. Dimash received enough votes to move onto the Finals instead of Billy Gilman.

Dimash's Finals performance in Episode BC017 consisted of singing "Confessa" and "The Diva Dance", in a total of three different languages, while being accompanied by a contemporary dancer. Mike, Saf, Pennies and Fresh all gave him standing ovations, calling him one of the best and most passionate male vocalists of all time.

Finale[]
For the Finale on Episode BC018, Dimash collaborated with fellow finalist Sohyang. They both sang Eric Carmen's "All By Myself" together.
Top 10's Journey[]
| Dimash is one of the only people to place in the Top 2 on two JGT seasons (Ninefold and The World's Best). Dimash's journey began on JayGT: Ninefold where he got the Golden Buzzer. Dimash put smiles on everyone's faces every time he stepped on that stage and showed off his impressive range. After winning Ninefold, Dimash came back to impress on The World's Best, but lost to this seasons Semifinalists, Kukkiwon . With Kukkiwon out of the way, will this "The World's Best" star take this thing home? |
Dimash was announced as the winner of FantasyAGT: Battle of the Champions ahead of Sohyang, Zurcaroh, Darci Lynne, Kseniya Simonova, 2CELLOS, V.Unbeatable, Brian Justin Crum, Mat Franco and Haley Reinhart, winning $5,000,000 and the title of best talent of best talent in the world.
