Darci Lynne Farmer lives in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She was born on October 12, 2004. She is a ventriloquist. She first saw ventriloquism while at a church event, something clicked, and she decided she wanted to pursue ventriloquism. She asked her parents for a puppet to help her overcome her shyness, and on her tenth birthday, her parents surprised her with a puppet. Now, she would like to keep ventriloquism alive because it is not very common.
Before AGT, Darci had appeared on Little Big Shots and Little Big Shots UK.
Darci's parents are Clark and Misty Farmer. She has three brothers Nate, Dalton and Nick. Nick is the oldest and attends the University of Oklahoma. Dalton is in high school. Her youngest sibling is Nate. [1]
Preliminary[]
Darci Lynne's preliminary performance in Episode BC01 consisted of singing George Gershwin's "Summertime" in ventriloquism through her rabbit puppet, Petunia. Mike, Saf, Pennies and Fresh all gave her standing ovations. Her performance was strong enough for the judges to send her to Judge Cuts instead of Quintavious Johnson.

Darci Lynne's Judge Cuts performance in Episode BC010 consisted of singing Etta James' "Something's Got a Hold On Me" in ventriloquism through her puppet Oscar. Mike, Saf, guest judge Mikey, Pennies and Fresh all gave her standing ovations. Her performance was strong enough for the judges to send her to the Quarterfinals.

Darci Lynne's Quarterfinal performance in Episode BC011 consisted of singing The Jackson 5's "Who's Lovin' You" in ventriloquism through her puppet Oscar. Mike, Saf, Pennies and Fresh all gave her standing ovations, praising her vocal ability. Darci received enough votes to advance to the Semifinals instead of William Close.

Darci Lynne's Semifinal performance in Episode BC016 consisted of singing Aretha Franklin's "(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman" in ventriloquism through her puppet Edna Doorknocker. Mike, Saf, Pennies and Fresh gave her standing ovations. Darci finished in either 5th or 6th place in the vote. In the Judges' Choice, although Fresh didn't vote for her, Mike, Saf and Pennies did, sending her to the Finals instead of Preacher Lawson.

For the Finale on Episode BC018, Darci Lynne collaborated with fellow competitor and singing ventriloquist, Terry Fator. They performed "Anything You Can Do" from Annie Get Your Gun.

| Darci Lynne is the second act that never had a chance to compete on JGT. Darci's journey began on Season 12, where she recieved the Golden Buzzer from singer Mel B and EASILY won the season. This season, Darci has wowed the panel with her cute comedy and powerhouse song choices all season long. Will Mikey's future wife be able to pull off another win for herself this season? |
