Barry and Stuart was a Magician Duo act from FantasyAGT: Battle of the Champions. They were eliminated in Judge Cuts.
Background[]
Barry and Stuart (Barry Jones and Stuart MacLeod) are two Scottish BAFTA nominated magicians and comedians whose work has been seen on television and on stage around the world. The double act are known for their comically dark performing style, for taking as inspiration the accounts of Biblical miracles and faking paranormal phenomena to form the basis for some of their illusions.
They won The Next Great Magician in 2016.
Preliminary[]
Barry and Stuart's preliminary performance in Episode BC03 consisted of regurgitating various drinks from their mouths requested by audience members. Mike, Saf, Pennies and Fresh gave the duo standing ovations. Their performance was not strong enough for the judges to send them to Judge Cuts along with Justin Flom, instead of Shin Lim. However, Fresh chose to use his save, sending the duo to the Judge Cuts.

Judge Cuts[]
Barry and Stuart's Judge Cuts performance in Episode BC08 consisted of performing a series of illusions including making a goldfish appear in a bowl of water, pulling a needle through a fake tongue, and balancing on the edge of a sword, all with a narrative of a powerful sorcerer. Mike, Saf, guest judge Luke and Fresh all gave the duo standing ovations. Their performance was not strong enough for the judges to send them to Quarterfinals, eliminating the duo from the competition.
