Alex Dowis was a Blacklight Painter act from FantasyAGT: Battle of the Champions. He was eliminated in the Quarterfinals.
Background[]
Alex Dowis is an artist from the Czech Republic who has participated in a wide range of theater and film productions in his home country and abroad. Alex has been painting since childhood. A large part of his early work consists of wall paintings based mainly on graffiti and street art.
From 2000 to 2003, Alex Dowis was involved in the operation of a music club and the production of dozens of cultural events throughout the Czech Republic. He is also the founder of Depo Crew and Hip Hop Kemp. Since 2003 he has also been active in Prague's Archa Theater.
He performs with his Light Art Show at TaFantastika Theater in Prague. Among other things, Alex devotes himself to film decorations and scenography, and he is sought after to work on advertising campaigns. His other activities include live sand art and speed painting exhibitions, as well as workshops at various exhibitions and social events. [1]
He was a contestant on the 2012 season of the Czech/Slovak version of Got Talent, finishing 2nd.

Alex Dowis' preliminary performance in Episode BC04 consisted of creating a tribute to the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 moon landing. Mike, Saf, Pennies and Fresh all gave him standing ovations. His performance was strong enough for the judges to send him to Judge Cuts instead of Geometrie Variable and XTRAP.

Alex Dowis' Judge Cuts performance in Episode BC07 consisted of creating a visual tribute to the first responders of 9/11. Mike, Saf, guest judge Smack, Pennies and Fresh all gave him standing ovations. His performance was strong enough for the judges to send him to Quarterfinals.

Quarterfinals[]
Alex Dowis' Quarterfinals performance in Episode BC014 consisted of creating a painting of the evolution of humanity. Mike, Saf, Pennies and Fresh all gave him standing ovations. He did not receive enough votes to advance to the Semifinals, eliminating him from the competition instead of Mat Franco.
